Christmas Fayre at Blakenhale – A Festive Celebration for All!
The holiday season came alive at Blakenhale with our annual Christmas Fayre, filled with joy, laughter and festive cheer! On Thursday 12th December, our school grounds were transformed into a winter wonderland, with something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you were looking for gifts, fun games or a chance to meet Santa himself, there was no shortage of holiday magic.
Santa’s Grotto
The highlight of the day was, of course, Santa’s Grotto! Children and families queued up with excited anticipation to meet the jolly man in red. Santa took time to chat with each child, listen to their Christmas wishes, and give out special treats to make their day even brighter. It was a magical moment that brought smiles to faces young and old!
Games Galore
The Christmas Fayre also featured an abundance of games and activities that kept everyone entertained. Our students and their families embraced the fun, competing for prizes and sharing in the joy of friendly competition.
Gift Stalls and Festive Treats
The Fayre was also a shopper's paradise, with a variety of gift stalls offering unique handmade crafts, toys and holiday decorations. Shoppers found the perfect presents for loved ones, while supporting local artisans and the school’s fundraising efforts. Of course, there were also delicious festive treats to indulge in, including hot chocolate and jacket potatoes.
A Community Celebration
The Christmas Fayre was a true testament to the spirit of community. Parents, students, staff and volunteers all came together to make the event a resounding success.
